A darkly comedic tale of Davies' nine years in LA, where she arrives full of comedy aspirations but leaves with absurd stories and survival skills. Stuck in a cycle of cringeworthy auditions, odd jobs and finally, a nanny gig with an Orthodox family in the middle of an expensive divorce. Meanwhile, the relationship with her abusive partner escalates from toxic to terrifying. When stalking, death threats and the prospect of carrying a gun to school pick-ups become her only viable option, Davies decides to escapes the chaos of LA and return to London.

Ambrosine is still getting fan mail for her role as the Dutch Girl in The Inbetweeners. "Thanks, Dave." You might also recognise her as the Cheery Lady from a Call of Duty advert. She graduated from The GROUNDLINGS and UCB LA and is a prominent figure in the improv scene.
Her solo show "I'll Die Laughing" is a personal story of abuse, nanny life and the comedy circuit in LA. The show premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe 2024. SCOTSMAN coined it as “brave, direct and powerful.

She is a 2022 SCREENCRAFT TV FELLOWSHIP FINALIST and a 2022 BIG BREAK screenplay FINALIST. Ambrosine's comedy pilot, Stacey, was shortlisted for the 2025 FEMALE PILOT CLUB in association with BBC comedy.
